Still looking for the perfect gift?

We are getting close to Chrsitmas and for those of you still looking for the perfect gift why not give a Chapelo Photography gift card. A gift card to have to have a portrait session is much more personal than a generic mall gift certificate. Grandkids can give it to their Grandparents for a session to have pictures together. Husbands give it to your wives to have a family portrait session. Am I the wedding photographer for a couple you know. A gift card towards prints or an album makes a great gift. Give me a call today or order online. http://www.imagequix.com/photog.php?id=N95749N

Nightmare High School

Once again AJ is involved in the Lebanon Jr. High Drama Club. I LOVE the fact that he is doing this again. This year's fall play is called Nightmare High School. Last night was the opening performance. He plays a mad scientist kind of teacher. He did an outstanding job, as did the rest of the cast. It was a great show. We will be there for tonight's performance as well. So much fun!

It snowed yesterday...

It may have snowed yesterday but that didn't stop Shannon! She was still up for outdoor senior pictures. What a great sport she was. We had so much fun in the snow. I could not have asked for a better senior in such cold conditions! She didn't complain once. After the session was done we met her Mom at the Village Ice Cream Parlor downtown Lebanon for some Hot Cocoa. Thanks again for the cocoa. So, here are a few from Shannon's indoor and outdoor session.

Tristan and Noah

Tristan and Noah came for portraits last weekend. Tristan is the big brother of 3 month old Noah. Both boys were absolutely adorable! I had the best time chatting with Tristan. I love a little one that talks as much as me :) I sure hope Santa brings him the new bike with the big wheels he is asking for. Here are collages I made of each of the boys.

Holiday's are the perfect time for family portraits.

The holiday season is one of the few times when the whole family is together. So why not get everyone together for a family portrait. That is what this family did over the Thanksgiving weekend. If you are having your family gathering why not give Chapelo Photography a call and let us help you capture the memory.

Missy's dreaded yearly event.

Let me start with a little back story...Missy is my very best friend. She is more like a sister really..so I can say she hates bringing the kids in for pictures and feel 100% confident that it is not because of me. :) It totally stresses her out. Every year at Christmas we do her Christmas Card pic and every year it is an adventure to say the least. I ALWAYS have to do a little photoshop head swapping to make all of the kids look happy (or at least not crying). So last week we had put it off long enough! It was time.
This year we decided on a family portrait so that we could keep Sam contained since he is not at the age of sitting still. But we were still a little worried about Jayne (I LOVE Jayne, but she does not always do what you want her to do, she is at that age). Well...this year she proved us all wrong...she was FANTASTIC and we got all that we needed in 10 minutes! Missy and I were completely thrilled and totally shocked :) Here is what will be on this years card.

The Seniors are still coming....

We are close to wrapping up the 2009 seniors but there is still time to get in a last minute session. Last weekend it was Carlee that came out for her portrait session. The weather was to cold to play outside so we just stayed in the warmth of studio. Here are a few from her session.

My New Year's Eve Couple!

This year on New Year's Eve I will have the honor of capturing the wedding event of the year! Jennifer and Joey will be getting married and I just can't wait to capture it all. That will be a blog entry you won't want to miss! They came in on Friday for an engagement session. Here are a few from the session.
Here is the handsome groom to be....

But wow, look at his future wife!

You can tell how much fun they are to work with.

Things started heating up in the camera room just a little. :)

Time for Momma to do a little braggin'

This evening my daughter's school had their talent show...Berry Idol. :) Mackenzie did a dance (which is of no suprise to any of you that know her). She danced to an old 50's song called Goody Goody. She was awesome. I am always amazed how at ease she is when she is on stage. I get so nervous for her I guess there is no need for her to be nervous too. :) Somehow I was able to take pics even though my hands were shaking . hahaha..here are a few of them.

Teddy's turn

Yesterday it was Teddy's turn for senior portraits, and as much as I know he did not want to get them done...he was a great sport. He even let me take him outside of the studio to freeze for a few minutes! Those of you who know Teddy...does he look like his little sister or is it just me? :)
So here are a few from yesterday. Enjoy!

Another last minute senior

Saturday I had another last minute Lebanon senior come in for her portraits. Gabby was an absolute delight. She was very easy to work with and we had a great time together. Her longtime boyfriend Seth came out to be in on the fun as well. They had a couple of shots done together. Here are a few of Gabby.

Jessica's turn!

We are down to the wire for senior portraits and this week it was Jessica's turn. She was fighting a cold and not feeling well, but that didn't stop her from being great to work with. Here are a few from her session. Enjoy!

Look at those Baby Blues!

Sawyer came for his 6 month portrait session on Saturday afternoon. He was in quite a serious mood. No matter what goofy stuff Mom and I did he would not crack a grin. We had to resort to tickling his tummy to get smiles. But even with his most serious of faces you can't help but love him. He has the best big blue eyes!
Don't you love this hat! :)
At this point I think he was thinking I had lost my mind, and he was wondering why I was acting like such an idiot.
A little tummy tickling and he couldn't help but giggle.

Still time for your senior portraits!

It's November and we are still shooting senior portraits. Yesterday Sarah came for her session. We had a great time and couldn't have asked for better weather! Sarah has a love of photography and I just really enjoyed working with her. Here are a few of her session.

The wedding of Vicki and Gabe

Yesterday was a gorgeous fall day, the air was crisp and the sun was shining. Sounds like a great day to get married! I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Vicki and Gabe. The ceremony was at St. Cecilia's in Oakley with the reception at the Oasis in Loveland. Both locations were spectacular and I had a great time! Here are a few of the lovely couple. Congrats to them both!

One of Vicki waiting in the hallway before she makes her entrance into the church.

A couple more of the beautiful bride.
Some at the church before we left for the Oasis.
One on the bridge at the Oasis before the sun left us for the evening.
