We have a new member of the family!

On Saturday we went to the pet store and Mackenzie picked out a new member of the family. She bought a baby Guinea pig and she named it Jordan. She decided on Jordan because it is too young for us to know if it is a boy or a girl and she figured Jordan was safe either way. She is absolutely in LOVE with it. She had saved over $100 for a pet, but never told us that was what she was saving for. So she asked us last week and then she spent all afternoon researching pets so she could pick the right one. How can you say no to that? So here are a few pictures of Mackenzie and her new baby Jordan.

Congrats Kristin and Andrew!

Yesterday's couple was Kristin and Andrew. Let me start by saying that Kristin was the happiest bride ever! She just couldn't stop smiling. I am sure her face must have been sore by the end of day. You couldn't meet two nicer people with nicer families. There was one very important member of the family missing yesterday. Kristin's brother is in the Navy and he is serving our Country in the Middle East right now. He sent a letter to be read during the reception. There was not a dry eye in room when Kristin's mom was done reading it. Including my own. Not so easy to take pictures when you can't see because of the tears! As a Veteran myself, I would like to say thank you to him for serving our Country.

The ceremony was held at the Hyde Park United Methodist Church. What a gorgeous location that is! What a wonderful old Church! The reception was held at the Syndicate in Newport, Ky. I loved the grand ballroom and the staff and the Syndicate was great. Here are just a few from our day. Enjoy!

Mr. and Mrs. Casbar

Last night I had the honor of capturing the wedding of Ashlie and Nicholas. Ashlie was a stunning bride and her bridesmaids were beautiful as well. It was a great day. The ceremony and the reception were help at Benham's Grove in Centerville. A great spot for an outdoor ceremony! The flowers were my favorite, I adore gerebera daisies! Here are a few from our day. Enjoy!

Playing with Peyton

Yesterday, Peyton came for a play session. She is 8 months old and oh so adorable! What a happy and easy baby. Don't you just love her red hair! She came with a tutu from the Fella Bella in Lebanon. She looked so cute in it!

Here she is finding the flower which she quickly discovered was very tasty :)

Towards the end of the session. A little yawn from Miss Peyton let us know she was tired from all of her hard work.

Julie and Kevin

Yestarday's wedding couple was Julie and Kevin. I should start by saying that Julie was my son's 3rd grade teacher and our family adores her. So I was beyond thrilled to have the honor of caprturing her wedding day. You won't meet a nicer couple with nicer familes. We had some pretty bad storms move through during the ceremony, but by the time we arrived at the reception site the storms left us a gorgeous sunset. The reception was at the Belwood Country Club. What a great venue and the staff was right on top of things. If you are looking for a hall I would recommend checking into them. So here are a few from our day. Hope you like them.
At Julie's brother's home before we left for the church.

Out on the green of the course. What a great spot!

Driving off into the sunset!
