Introducing Sawyer

A couple of years ago I photographed a wedding for a wonderful couple, Kari and Tom. Well yesterday afternoon I had the honor of photographing their beautiful new son Sawyer. He brought his big sisters along for the session. I had a great time with them. Here are a few from the session.

Happy Mother's Day

I would like to wish all of the mothers out there a very Happy Mother's Day! I have had a great day with my family today. I have been pampered from the moment I woke up this morning. Here are a few quick images that Zant took before we headed out the door for our Mother's Day feast. I am normally the one taking the pictures of the kids so my request today was to actually be in some with the kids. So I thought I would share a few with you all.

What I did last week.

A week ago I went to New Hampshire. I spent 6 days there learning and having a great time. I spent a day studying outdoor lighting with award winning photographers Jeff and Carrolle Dachowski, and another day studying studio lighting with Master Photographer Don Chick. After 2 days of hands on fun we were off the the big NHPPA convention and I entered my very first print competition. I am thrilled to share my prints with you and the awards that they won. I won 2 blue ribbons (I was amazed since this was my first time) and 3 reds.
